I’ve learned writing and publishing the hard way because of cultural norms na matatalino lang ang nakakapagsulat, at yung may mga degree lang. Eh pano kapag tulad nating ayaw magisip at diskarte-diskarte lang, hindi na pwedeng magsulat at maging writer?

Idagdag mo pa ang hirap sa gastos dahil sobrang mahal ng capital para magpublish ng libro. At kapag lumapit ka naman sa mga publisher at publishing house para kang isang basang sisiw na ayaw papasukin. Sabay deadma lang sila lalo’t hindi ka naman kilala at wala kang credentials. Parang, "Who are you to publish your book?" 

Dahil dito nareprogram ang isip mo na hindi mo kaya magsulat at hindi ito para sayo kaya mas pinili mo na lang na pasukin ang mga trabaho na kahit hindi mo din gusto ay doon ka na lang nagtiis. Sayang!

In a way, cultural norms and people indirectly dictate and influence our perception and belief that we cannot write and succeed. Pretty discouraging, isn't it?"

I remember my friend from 5 years ago. Sabi ko sa kanya let’s start writing our books. 

Sabi nya for PhD lang daw yon, at sino ba daw kami? Fast Forward to today, I have several books and provide writing services for people around the world. Surprisingly, I'm the one writing books for people with PhDs.

Like nagpunta ka sa bookstore, dinampot mo yung isang libro, binasa mo tapos nainspire ka kahit hindi mo binili yung libro, ang mahalaga na motivate ka, the next day, ibang tao ka na. That’s one of my goals.

Marami akong secrets na ishishare dito na hindi mo makukuha sa mga sikat na writers at authors dahil ayaw nilang malaman natin iyon dahil syempre dadami ang players and writers at sisikip at tataas ang kompetisyon. Pero diba lahat ng tao ay pwedeng matuto sa alam mo? For sure may alam ka na hindi alam ng iba? Or baka may istorya ka na kayang magpabago sa buhay ng iba! You're destined for success! Your story deserves to be heard and read. I believe na kaya mo, lalo’t gusto mo! You need to intentionally do it now!

• I remember yung moments and feeling kapag pinapakilala kang writer and author, ang lakas maka-boost ng confidence. People admire you kahit hindi ka nila kilala. They want to be like you. Hindi mo yung gusto pero sila mismo ang nagbibigay sayo kaya you say, “Thank you”.

• One time, I was interviewed for a higher position, after kong sinabi na isa akong author, and I have books in Amazon and Google at may sariling publishing, parang yung interviewer na yung kinabahan dahil next questions ako na yung nag-iinterview sa kanya. 

• This writing hobby led me to secure a higher leadership position. It's like a secret credential. 

• Another wonderful aspect is that I've built a business around my passion.

• Most importantly, I have the flexibility to retire whenever I choose, even if it means living in the countryside, kahit sa bukid, because I can continue to engage in this work and attract clients from various corners of the globe.

• Walang katumbas na presyo and value ang lahat ng naibigay sa akin ng pagsulat both monetary and self-fulfillment. Sobrang bawing bawi na ako, at sobra na din ang ROI. Kaya shinishare ko na.
